Joanne Buttner is an accomplished, award-winning photographer, who delights in the creative art of portraiture. Being blessed with a large family, the process of capturing the honest essence of each personality has been her inspiration. She refined her artistic vision during her years of photographic study at Bridgewater State College. The combination of an educated talent with an intuitive eye, results in portraits that are vulnerable, sincere and aesthetically authentic.

Ms. Buttner continues her education with ongoing study at the New England School of Photography, the Palm Beach Photographic Center and the New England Institute of Professional Photography. She is a member of the following organizations:

In addition, Joanne is a member of the South Shore Art Association, the North River Art Association and the Cape Cod Art Association where she is a Juried Artist Member for fine art photography.
